There is a way that our indigenous ancestors understand ayahuasca that is very different from how it is often seen today.

Before anything else, they recognize something simple but profound: Nothing in creation exists without a purpose. Every plant, every element, everything that exists carries a vibration. And that vibration is not random; it is directed toward service.

From this perspective, ayahuasca is not just a plant. It is a sacred medicine.

Our ancestors discovered that within its essence, it carries something very unique:
a consciousness that holds the totality of creation awakened within it.

For them, ayahuasca is an experience of the Creator.

In our day-to-day life, most of us are not actually present. Our consciousness is constantly moving into the past or future, into thoughts and worries. In that movement, we are not here.

From the ancestral view, this is what it means for our consciousness to be asleep.

So the role of this medicine is to awaken consciousness.

And when consciousness awakens, something very natural happens: we expand in love.

A Living Intelligence

When ayahuasca enters the body, it is a very great power that enters within you. A power that is infinitely greater than any of our difficulties. And the way this power works is very intelligent. It first begins by cleansing.

The medicine begins by removing what is no longer needed.
This can happen physically, emotionally and energetically.

✓ Tension that has been accumulated over time begins to come out.
✓ Emotions that were buried begin to surface.
✓ Things we didn’t even realize we were holding can begin to move.

And this is an immense gift, because the medicine is putting order to our life. It is clearing the path and making space for clarity to come.

As this cleansing happens, something deeper begins to awaken.

Our ancestors speak about an “ancient memory.” Not memory in the way we think of it, like remembering an event or a moment. This is something much deeper.

It is a memory that lives in the cells, our body, in our whole being.  It is the memory of our origin.

And that origin is the Creator, which is an infinite source of love.

When this ancient memory awakens within us, we experience an expansion.

And from that place, something very powerful happens:
We begin to understand.

From love, we begin to understand the purpose behind everything.

Not just the good things.
Also the difficult things.
The painful experiences.
The moments we didn’t want.

We begin to see that everything was there with a purpose.

And as this understanding deepens, things begin to restore within us:

Our relationships.
Our emotions.
Our direction in life.

Everything begins to return to its place in a very natural way.

The Container Matters

Because this is such a powerful process, our ancestors emphasize something very important:

This medicine is not good or bad. It is a power.

And like any power, it depends on how it is guided.

This is why it is so important to work with people who carry integrity.
People who can guide the process before, during, and after.

Because the experience itself can be intense.

But when it is held with care and love, it becomes something very beautiful.

NOT A PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE

Today, many people feel curious about ayahuasca because they are looking for an impressive mystical experience.

But the elders say this clearly: That comes from the ego.

And it can even be a waste to encounter such a great power and only use it for an experience.

The true purpose is your life.

When this medicine is approached in the right way, the intention is simple: To receive what we really need to be well in life.

To heal the body.
To heal our story.
To bring harmony into our relationships, especially the relationship with ourselves.

And from there, to walk forward with clarity, purpose, and a deeper connection to life itself.

At the end of the day, this path is not about escaping reality. It is about entering into a more conscious relationship with it.

To live with more joy.
More gratitude.
More awareness.

And to recognize that there is a power available to us… A power greater than any of our problems.

If there is one thing to remember, it is this: Healing is not something you have to force.

There is an intelligence in life that already knows how to restore you.

And when you align with that and allow it to cleanse, guide, and show you what truly matters, you begin to experience something very simple, and very real: That love is at the origin of everything.

And from that place everything begins to find its way to harmony.
