What Our Ancestors Knew About Living in Harmony
Nov 15, 2025
Over the years of learning from indigenous elders, one thing has become unmistakably clear to me: the wisdom we’re searching for today is the same wisdom our ancestors lived by — and it’s much simpler than we think.
Before books, podcasts, or a million conflicting opinions, our ancestors learned by watching life itself. They discovered something profound, something we desperately need in this time:
that harmony comes from knowing where to place our attention.
They learned to connect the mind and the heart.
They learned to make fine use of their thoughts.
And they understood the duality within us — the chaos and the clarity — not as a problem, but as a design.
What made these ancient civilizations so wise wasn’t that they knew more…
it’s that they observed more.
They weren’t drowning in information the way we are now. They had space — space to see, to feel, to understand the intelligence moving through creation.
And in that space, they realized something that changed everything:
Nothing in this universe happens by chance. Everything has a purpose.
THE WISDOM OF ATTENTION
One of the greatest things our ancestors discovered is that life follows our attention.
- If we place our focus on fear, anger, or frustration — that becomes our experience of life.
- If we place our focus on peace, gratitude, and harmony — that too becomes our experience.
It’s simple, but it’s not easy. Because we have an ego who loves to distract.
Yet our ancestors found a way to stop that inner war — by connecting the mind and the heart in a loving act.
They learned to make a fine use of their thoughts, and to live consciously aware of where their energy was going. That’s what created their harmony.
THE ANCIENT MEMORY OF THE HEART
The elders said that there will come a time when humanity would once again live guided by the heart.
Our heart holds the most ancient memory there is — the memory of the origin of Creation — the memory of love.
When we move our attention from our mind into our heart, that ancient memory begins to awaken. And when it awakens, something incredible happens: we begin to understand life in a completely different way.
The shamans say that there’s a healer, a wise one, sleeping within every human being.
When we open our hearts, that inner healer begins to wake up.
First to be healers of our own selves, and naturally, to be of service to others.
ANCIENT WISDOM FOR MODERN TIMES
The teachings of our ancestors are not “old.” They’re timeless — and perhaps more needed now than ever.
We live in a world overflowing with information, yet starving for wisdom.
So much input, so many opinions — it’s easy to lose our clarity and inner peace.
That’s why these ancestral teachings are resurfacing now: to remind us how to direct our thoughts, how to live with intention, and how to find our way back to balance.
One of the most powerful ways to do that is through an ancient ceremony called The Nine Doors — a sacred process that helps us integrate this wisdom into daily life.
The Nine Doors contain tools that come directly from creation itself — not invented by anyone, but revealed through observation of nature’s own harmony.
It helps us use our time wisely, focus our energy with purpose, and restore inner peace.
It helps us stop the inner war and become our own allies again.
These teachings are here to help us remember:
- to move through life with humility
- to see every experience as sacred
- to live guided by love
That’s what The Nine Doors are about: remembering who we are and learning to live in peace with all of our relations.
This is not another spiritual program. It’s a one-of-a-kind journey born from decades of lived experience with ancestral teachings.
We’re currently welcoming new members into next year's circle and we’d love to have you there.
A SEED TO CARRY
Pay attention to what you’re feeding with your thoughts.
That’s where your energy flows — and that’s what becomes your experience.
Every time we choose to bring our attention back to the heart, we’re walking the same path our ancestors once walked. And little by little we begin to remember what they already knew:
that love is the highest intelligence, and that peace begins within.
