What Nature Has Taught Us About Life

earth teachings Oct 24, 2025

Over the past few months, we’ve been spending at least three hours a day outside. Some days, the whole day.

Honestly — being in nature is medicine. There’s no other way to put it.

No wonder so many people in modern society suffer from anxiety, depression, unregulated emotions. We spend our lives contained between four walls, disconnected from sunlight, fresh air, and the grounding embrace of the earth.

But nature…heals everything.

Thank you, Mother Earth, for your unconditionality — for receiving me as I am, for letting me feel your love, and for reminding me of what truly matters.

RETURN TO YOUR NATURE

We are part of nature.
So when we connect to nature, we naturally reconnect with ourselves.

Beyond the noise, beyond the endless doing, in the silence, in the sensations, in the stillness, something inside begins to move.

Nature is a living intelligence, a consciousness flowing through everything. It moves by itself, sustains itself, and gives direction to all things.

And when you spend time in that presence, something extraordinary happens:
you begin to align with it.
You touch a wisdom beyond your rational mind.
You enter into communion with God.

Because nature is the closest tangible experience we have of God.

LESSONS FROM NATURE

1. Be Natural — Follow and trust *your* nature
Nothing in nature forces anything. The river doesn’t rush to meet the sea; it simply flows. The tree doesn’t resist the seasons; it trusts its process. Nature reminds us that life unfolds perfectly when we allow it to. Everything that is forced breaks. Learn to flow, trust your natural rhythm, follow your needs and allow the higher intelligence of life to move you.

2. Nature is implacable  and humble.
Nature restores balance without pity or preference. It is what it is.
Through this, we’ve learned humility — the humility to pray from the heart and to trust that there is a force infinitely wiser that keeps everything in order.

3. Everything Serves Everything
Love is the great secret that moves nature. Every part of it exists in service — the rain that feeds the soil, the soil that feeds the roots, the roots that hold the earth together. It’s a constant exchange of service, giving and receiving, each part essential to the whole.

When we walk in nature, we are reminded of this love, not as an idea, but as a living presence that sustains all of creation.

THE GREAT HEALER

Nature has been the biggest healer in my life. Whatever your ailment — go to the Earth.

Let her hold you.
Let her cleanse you.
Let her remind you of who you are.

Because in its presence you remember something ancient:

That you, too, are nature.
And when you return to her, you return to yourself.

A SEED TO CARRY

Take time to go outside just to be.
To feel.
To listen.

Bundle up if it's chilly where you are and let nature do what she’s always done: heal, guide and remind you that everything, including you, is part of one perfect design.
