Alex’s path began over 20 years ago when he felt called to the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan. That step opened the door to years of living and learning with the Cofan in the Amazon, the Cogis in the Sierra Nevada, the Aymara in Bolivia, and North American Indian traditions. What started as curiosity became a lifelong dedication to walking with ceremony, sacred plants, and ancestral art. Today, as both a council member and artist, he continues to carry these teachings in ways that invite people back to joy, balance, and the guidance of their hearts.

Laura’s journey has always been rooted in a fascination with the human spirit. After studying Psychology and Fine Art at the University of Virginia, her real education came through walking her own healing path. Plant medicine, yoga, meditation, and song became her anchors. Learning alongside Alex and indigenous elders, she’s been able to weave psychology, creativity, and ancient teachings into a grounded approach that supports others in finding clarity and connection.

Together, we’ve built our life around this work. We raise our family with these values, spend much of our time in nature, and continue to learn from the elders and traditions that have shaped us. Through retreats, ceremonies, and community, our aim is simple: to pass forward what’s been so generously shared with us, and to create spaces where people feel supported to reconnect with themselves and live with purpose.
